Big scary thing in the basement
A view of something in the basement of my building in Helsingborg.
It has a room pretty much all to itself.
I suspect that it might be laundry-related.

The activity is more scary than the thing, if u ask me. Its a mangle, (think this is the english word). Flaten yor sheets was the kind of thing people did before the era of internet.

Mystery solved.
The English word is indeed mangle. I've never seen one quite this big or scary looking before though. Makes one wonder whether the verb "to mangle" comes from what happens when you get your hand caught in one of these contraptions...
Call the Swedish government Mark and ask for 'grovsopshämtning'. They should come and take it away free of charge.
This is a wonderful device that you use to ”make the day” for a job/smoker female friend - remember what I told you :-)
