What an amazing piece of Romanesque architecture. 19th century??
Erm...I don't know. Look it up, or something & let us know, OK?
Off the top of my head it's Neo Gothic, completed in 1897 and designed by Alfred Hellerström. I think. (hehe)
Where's the snow? Please don't tell me that it's already melted or I might just cry. It's still the full on white blanket over here on the east coast.
I'll be heading over your way this summer, so I'm looking forward to checking out some of these places.
Monkey -- sounds right, or at least the architecture corresponds with the date.
Truly awesome. I wish our city hall were pretty. But it was built in the 1970s and is aptly titled "City/County Building." Any building title with a slash is a bad, bad idea.
While I am borrowing my brother's computer to look up some information, I have been able to read all the new entries in my favorite blogs that I have been missing while I'm computer-less. (Because the other page is taking forever to download)The reason I have so much time to do this is becaus dial-up is take a nap, go out for dinner and come back two days later frickin slow. Mark I am truly glad to have been able to check up on your blog...but seriously...dial up sucks!! It should be outlawed and it's time the Canadian government did something about it! That's what I think.
